    The Modified ABX-110 Tube-Launched ABC Scrambler is an area effect weapon that fills the non-lethal crowd control role. It entered Imperial service at least after the Battle of Yavin. This weapon is a modification an Imperial anti-ordnance EM probe whose purpose was to disrupt the in-flight electronic guidance signals of smart munitions. In its new role, the weapon unleashes ultrasonics, biological irritants, and chemical agents, hence its name ABC Scrambler. These components are simultaneously emitted over a large area, effectively inducing for the next several minutes a massive sensory overload in all the individuals caught in the blast radius. The disorientated individuals will collapse to the ground in extreme agony, unsure whether to clasp their ears or claw at their skin. For maximum effect the pod is fired above the heads of a rowdy crowd.
