Special Abilities : Can be modified to fire in bursts (fully automatic)- a difficult blaster repair roll is required. User receives +3D to blaster roll, but cannot dodge while burst firing.
Note : One 20 second burst will drain the power pack (no ammunition left). However, excess heat generated by extended burst fire can cause the internal circuitry to melt and/or cause an explosive overload. Low-power stun setting can knock a human unconscious for up to 10 minutes.

 

    The DH-17 Blaster Pistol is a sturdy and reliable design that BlasTech developed for use as a military-use sidearm, with shipboard use specially in mind. This close-combat weapon is powerful enough to penetrate Stormtrooper armour and low level force fields, yet it will not puncture a starship's hull. This weapon is a standard issue sidearm for Imperial Navy personnel, while conversely, it also finds common use among the vile forces of the Rebellion. In about five seconds, an experienced trooper can replace a depleted power pack for the DH-17. The silver segment of the weapon is a flash suppressor for night concealment. Sufficient blaster gas is held in the DH-17's blaster gas chamber for over 500 rounds. Power packs, which hold 100 rounds can be recharged in about 15 minutes via a power generator.
