Home One is considered to be exceptionally well armed, and features an organically artistic cylindrical body, with a fluid like surface. Twenty hanger bays house the starfighters and other craft carried onboard. There is two large port and one large starboard hanger entrances on this ten engine ship. Like other Mon Calamari Cruisers, Home One possesses multiple shield generators, however, they are considered to be unusually powerful. In direct combat, this design focuses on ion cannon attacks. Admiral Ackbar's office features large viewports and contains a globed-shaped gravity-nullifying field fish tank. Following the Empire's shinning victory at the Battle of Hoth, Home One became the mobile headquarters of the Rebellion, and probably was the most critical Mon Calamari Cruiser in operation. *After Endor* Home One continued to serve as Admiral Ackbar's flagship in combat, even during Grand Admiral Thrawn's glorious campaigns against the hated New Republic, and shortly after Thrawn's untimely death. |
