    The Rebel Attack Tank was designed to handle armoured vehicles. Compared to the Hover Tank T1-B, the Attack Tank is a slower, but heavier vehicle. Its proton missile launcher, which is intended to attack large armoured vehicles can quickly annihilate lightly armoured vehicles such as the AT-PT and the Mobile Artillery. It is known that the Rebels acquired this craft some time before the Battle of Yavin.
